Sunshine Place is committed to continue operations with COVID-19 safe practices to ensure the safety of both clients and volunteers.   As the guidelines change, we will adjust our services accordingly.

Rent & Utility Assistance Program
New Program! 
Through generous community grants Sunshine Place has created a new Rent & Utility Assistance program for those in the Sun Prairie and northeastern Dane County region.  To qualify for assistance, the household must have been financially impacted by COVID-19 through loss of employment or significant loss of hours.

Sunshine Supper
New Hours & Procedures

Mondays 5 PM – 6 PM
Wednesdays 5 PM – 6 PM

Sunshine Supper has switched to a drive through service and now serves two nights a week until further notice.  Guests must enter from the Hart Road entrance.

Sun Prairie Emergency Food Pantry
New Hours & Procedures

M/W/F – 10 AM – 1:45 PM
Tu/Th – 5 PM – 6:45 PM
Sa – 9 AM – 10:45 AM

The Sun Prairie Emergency Food Pantry continues to operate in a drive-up service during normal food pantry hours.   Access to food and personal items has been increased until further notice by allowing households to visit the Pantry every other week as opposed to once every 30 days.

Sunshine Legal Clinic
New Hours & Procedures
First Thursday of the month 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Sunshine Legal Clinic has switched to virtual appointments.  Please call 608-352-8555 in advance to schedule an appointment.

C.A.R.D.S. Closet
New Procedures

C.A.R.D.S. Closet continues to provide clothing to Sun Prairie youth referred by their school social worker.  Processes have been modified to a no-contact pick-up.

The Bed Lady Program
New Procedures

The Bed Lady program continues to provide beds to Sun Prairie youth referred by a community or school social worker.  Processes have been modified for a safe, contactless delivery.

First Care Clinic

First Care Clinic continues to serve every Thursday from 10 AM – 4 PM using COVID-19 safe practices.
