Sunshine Place is committed to continue operations with COVID-19 safe practices to ensure the safety of both clients and volunteers. As the guidelines change, we will adjust our services accordingly.

COVID-19 testing at Sunshine Place
New Service
PCR testing is available, with rapid antigen following in the coming weeks.
Testing site: Sunshine Classroom at 1632 W. Main Street, Unit 170.
Hours of operation: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Wednesdays through Sundays, and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Tuesdays.

Before coming to the testing site, please register for the test at register.covidconnect.wi.
Testing will be performed by Safeguard Covid Testing, which is an approved testing site from the Wisconsin Department of Health and Public Health Madison Dane County.
Rays of Hope – Emergency Assistance Program
Through generous community grants Sunshine Place has created a new Emergency Assistance Program.

Sunshine Supper
Drive Through Service

Sunshine Supper has switched to a drive through service. Guests must enter from the Hart Road entrance.

The Sun Prairie Emergency Food Pantry continues to operate in a drive-up service during normal food pantry hours. Access to food and personal items has been increased until further notice by allowing households to visit the Pantry every other week as opposed to once every 30 days.

C.A.R.D.S. Closet
C.A.R.D.S. Closet continues to provide clothing to Sun Prairie youth referred by their school social worker.

The Bed Lady program continues to provide beds to Sun Prairie youth referred by a community or school social worker. Processes have been modified for a safe, contactless delivery.
