C.A.R.D.S. Closet A free clothing resource for Sun Prairie Area School Families

C.A.R.D.S. Closet accepts CLEAN and GENTLY used SEASONAL clothing and footwear ONLY. Clothing that your child would feel good in. Socks and undergarments, ONLY BRAND NEW, please. We have a large donation box outside of our store so you can drop off anytime. If you want to make sure that your clothing stays local and helps out someone in the Sun Prairie Area School District, then we can help you accomplish that.

Once we receive your donation, we sort and store for the time of need. That call usually comes from the school, the SP Police Department, or other community agencies. We try to push for a 24 hour turn around.

For items we do not have that are requested, we have an email list that we utilize for such request. We will also post on this page. As you know, with times of crisis, a quick response is usually best so, we work hard to meet every request that comes in.

To request clothes, email us at CARDScloset@gmail.com.

We will need a yearly referral from a school social worker. A very simple process that they work to expedite. The family appointments are 30 minutes and private for each family.

C.A.R.D.S. Closet is run by a student board of directors.

The acronym stands for: Community Awareness, Resource Development, and Service.
