Come One. Come All.
We invite one and all to gather around the same dinner table for a night of good food, friendship and fellowship. Sunshine Supper dishes up healthy, hot, and nutritious meals for Sun Prairie neighbors who might otherwise go without. But it’s more than a meal, it’s also a night of camaraderie and fun as guests and volunteers gather to eat and share life together in a welcoming and comfortable environment. School, church, civic and professional volunteers donate and prepare the food.
Sunshine Place sees working together as instrumental in helping those in need. In addition to our own programs, we have partnered with other social service and non-profit organizations to bring essential services to one central location.

Food for All
We invite families and individuals challenged by hunger to visit the Sun Prairie Emergency Food Pantry. Neighbors struggling with food insecurity can visit the pantry once every 14 days for healthy food options like fresh vegetables, fruit, cereal, meat, pasta, milk, cheese, bread, kid’s snacks, juice, eggs, weekly kid’s boxes, and senior boxes. The pantry also offers limited supplies of personal care items including feminine hygiene products, diapers, laundry soap, deodorant, toothpaste, and more. Free Sun Prairie Taxi Service (608-837-5550) to and from the pantry is available to Sun Prairie residents needing transportation. The food pantry serves about 450 households per month, delivering around 95 pounds of food per family. Neighbors can support the food pantry through financial donations or by donating food items.
