Community-Based Food Programs for Kids

You can find us:

  • Stocking satellite food pantries at eight Sun Prairie Community Schools
  • Distributing hearty snack bags on Fridays during the school year to kids in four low-income communities
  • Distributing Break Bags full of kid-friendly meals and snacks to help families get through holiday breaks during the school year
  • Distributing lunches three days a week during Summer Break in six neighborhoods

Our food for kids programs meet kids and families where they are, working to ensure that no child goes hungry in Sun Prairie!

Fun Friday

Most Fridays during the school year, our food pantry van can be found distributing weekend snack bags to kids directly in their neighborhood.

Fun Friday begins September 13!

2:50 – 3:10 PM – Vandenberg Heights Park

3:20 – 3:50 PM – Rolling Prairie Apartments

4:00 – 4:30 PM – The Element Apartments

4:40 – 5:00 PM – Wildwood Apartments

Qualifying Northside Elementary families also receive Weekend Bags every other Friday during the school year.
